I've been getting food here since I was a kid. The Steak sandwich is amazing. I live almost 2 hrs away now and every time I'm in the area I have to get a sandwich. It just doesn't get any better.

This was not even close to what the sign says "home of the original giant steak sandwich" it's a quarter pound frozen Patty Madelin a lot of bread worst $11.50 I have ever spent

Over priced, greasy food. It feels dirty in the restaurant and not welcoming at all. We ordered take out. I picked it up took it home and all of our food was good except the children's chicken tenders meal we ordered our son. We opened the take out box to find 1 chicken tender and a few fries. It was enough to feed a small toddler. I called them thinking they made a mistake and they said that is all they put in that meal. I won't ever go back there ever again which is so sad because I'm born and raised in st. Charles and I loved going there as a child.

In town for some work so we decided to give the local place a shot. Should have went to Mc'ds. The place was 50 degrees inside at best. Food was nasty processed crap with nothing made in these 4 walls.

Things were different in 2009, ignore that review because that was a different owner.
The waitress under the new owner messed up our bill twice, we just paid the $6 overcharge and won't go back. We've gone here for years, had the same thing, it comes out to the same price. We liked the other waitress, she knew us, and could add.
The food is good enough, but hearing the (new?) cook talk about drinking beer because his empty business was so stressful....wonder why it's empty. Next time we go to Rustic. That's always good, and right.
Update 10-2014
We went back, that was a mistake. We were charged for $12 for 2 combos, we only got 1 and a sandwich. We were charged $2.00 for a drink for me when I got water (because I dared put some water flavoring in it, I guess). AND, we were charged $9.25 for a couple chips with very burnt cheese (we ordered a few chips with cheese for our son, it should not have been more than $3.25 at MOST). Only go to this place if you want things added to your bill you did not order, inconsistency and a general screwing.
WAAAAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR WHAT YOU GET!! STAY AWAY!!
